Episode #13: Maame De-Heer Shares Her Audacious Story!

"And that’s what endurance does, endurance builds character. Endurance makes you realize that if you meet this challenge in the future, it becomes so useful"

Maame De-Heer

As Black History Month winds down, Maame De-Heer joins the podcast to discuss her experiences as a Black female living in Canada.

Maame immigrated to Canada from Ghana as an adolescent and quickly had to adapt to new culture. She shares her experience on what the transition was like, thoughts on dealing with racism in the corporate world and some cool initiatives she's involved with that are aimed at providing mental health support to the Black community.

Maame also provides some good advice on how to get past everyday challenges in our personal or professional life by simply enduring and not quitting.
