Episode #81 Improve Your Mindset featuring Pam Christian

“You have to ask yourself, What are you saying to yourself for any change to happen? So you got to stop living on autopilot, we are living with our eyes closed.”

There is much truth to the saying, “Thoughts become things”.

Our mindset is made up of a collection of thoughts and beliefs that shape the things our thought habits. Our thought habits affect how we think, what we feel, and what we do. For example, if we're normally quick to jump to conclusions, make assumptions about others or situations, that will eventually be how we view the world because we see everything though that lens. Our mind-set impacts how you make sense of the world, and how you make sense of you.

“You have to interrupt your patterns, you might be the type of person who anytime something negative comes into your mind, you live there. You decide that's what's right and you stay there. Whether you have something on your wrist that's like a rubber band that you snap or something else that snaps you out of that. So you can say to yourself, Wait, is this true? Does it have to be this way? But if you can't even get out of yourself to ask yourself those questions, you're going to live in this space.”

Pam Christian is a motivational speaker, mindset coach and host of The Juice Podcast where she features in depth conversations with thought leaders. Her mission is simply to help heal humanity by motivating and inspiring others to live their best lives. She encourages individuals to look inwards as starting point on the pathway to healing.

“It's kind of like a caterpillar and you're in the cocoon, and it's gooey, and it's messy and sticky. It's like all these things that are gross but that butterfly that emerges not only brings life to the butterfly itself but to the world. We love butterflies, butterflies are beautiful. It's like it's going through the darkness.”

Pam joins The Audacious Living Podcast for an in depth conversation on having a healthy mindset, maintaining a positive perspective on life and how easily we can incorporate meditation into our daily living.
