Episode #95: The Giver In You featuring EA Csolkovits
“I think that's where education gets supplanted with wisdom. You know, as wisdom is learning what to do and knowing when to do it and how to do it. As opposed to just knowing what needs to be done.”

I firmly believe that the greatest lessons we learn in life comes from other people. While there are no short cuts in life, having the right person in your corner cheering you on has to be one of best life hacks out there. Aside from being a great cheerleader, these people or mentors can also impart valuable wisdom and insights based on their own experiences. Believe it or not, whatever you we’re going through — no matter what it is, there's someone out there who has the same shared experience and can help you navigate your own situation and serve as a guiding light on this wonderful journey called life.
Good mentors can be pivotal during major junctures of your life, both personally and professionally. They can steer you clear of disaster, provide their views of the future that you can’t see, and heal your soul.
The powerful lessons learned from mentors can be impactful but the lessons learned aren't meant to remain with us. We each have an obligation to pay it forward and help and guide others in the exact same way we were.
E.A. Csolkovits is a successful entrepreneur who at the age of 19, met Sam Robbins, a millionaire who took him under his wing and this was the start of their mentoring relationship.
When I was 19 years old, I asked my mentor I said, “Sam, will you teach it all to me? I mean, all of it. Don't hold back. I know all of it, all of it right now.” He said, “Okay, I will teach you he said, but I want one thing from you. When the time is right and you will know that time. I want you to teach as many people as you can. Everything I've taught you.” So at 19 years old, I made an oath and I made a vow to my mentor, that today is manifest as Givers University.
E.A. Csolkovits’ beginnings were humble, growing up as the son of a milkman and working as a janitor from 16 years of age. When he still was at the beginning of his janitorial career, E.A. started cleaning an expensive house in Chicago. That was a good improvement for his work, but little did he know that cleaning that house would have been the beginning of something greater. The house owner was, in fact, June Martino, known as the “McDonald’s den mother” and she served as an instrumental spark to help him understand the value of having a mentor and why he needed one himself.
E.A. eventually met Sam Robbins, a millionaire businessman from Detroit who went on to become the mentor that E.A.knew he needed. Robbins taught him everything about success, with the promise that EA would teach the same principles to others in the future. He is now doing so with Givers University, where he helps transform your personal, business, social, & family life, into a life of increased & exceptional happiness, freedom & greatness
