One of the most important conversations that we’ll ever have is the one we have with ourselves. Mental chatter or self-talk is something we naturally do all day long. We talk to ourselves, either silently or out loud, and often don’t even realize we are doing it. The things we say to ourselves can have a big impact on how you view yourself and your actions—so its important to pay close attention to the things we think about.

“There's the conversation we have with ourselves and then we convince ourselves, we can do it. The next thing you know, we're putting a man on the moon.”

When author and entrepreneur Rob White was a child, his grandfather Frank woke up one morning, cooked his usual four eggs for breakfast, kissed his daughter on the cheek, and then dropped dead in the middle of the kitchen. He was ninety-nine and had lived the life of his dreams.

His grandfather served to be an inspiration to Rob who went on to discover what it really means to live a life that truly feels "good" to him, or in line with this authentic self.

Rob’s new book, The Maestro Monologue: Discover Your Genius. Defeat Your Intruder. Design Your Destiny” will take readers on a incredibly insightful journey to uncover untapped potential for those who are ready to take control of their lives.

Rob visits The Audacious Living Podcast to discuss the power of self talk, unlocking our inner potential and the power of our thoughts.
